Enjoy this special dining event as the Innkeepers of Salem Cross Inn prepare your feast on the open-hearth fireplace. Relax by the fire as your feast is prepared colonial style. While your feast is cooking, enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride through the valley (weather permitting) across the Inn’s pristine 600 acres of land.

Enjoy Salem Cross Inn’s famous cheese spread and a glass of mulled wine or cider to help take the chill off after your wagon ride. Take a turn to stir the chowder as it bubbles in their cast iron cauldron.

See your prime rib, roasted ‘to a turn,’ as the only known authentic Roasting Jack still operating in America, rotates slowly over the crackling flames of wild cherry logs. For your meal enjoy fresh from the oven homemade rolls and muffins, herbed roasted potatoes and fresh butternut squash, along with NEW ENGLAND’S BEST APPLE PIE served with their brimming bowl of freshly whipped cream – the perfect complement to the apple pie.

At Salem Cross Inn, they capture the history and culture of 1700’s America. (Chicken or Vegetarian as an alternative to Prime Rib upon request).

Depart Bedford COA for Boston to celebrate New Year’s Eve at Noon aboard the Spirit of Boston cruise ship.

We will take a two-hour cruise of Boston Harbor, counting down to a champagne toast at noon.

Return to Bedford at 2:00 p.m.
